Former champions Medeama SC put up a classic display in front of their home fans to collect all three points in their Ghana Premier League (GPL), fixture on Friday night.
The Matchday 27 fixture, was played at the TnA Stadium, Tarkwa.
Kingsley Braye’s hat trick and a penalty from Mubarik Yussif was enough for the Yellow and Mauves to end Dreams FC’s eight-game unbeaten run in the league.
The three points gained, moves Medeama SC fifth on the table with 41 points ahead of the rest of the Matchday 27 fixtures this weekend.
Medeama SC, are now unbeaten in the league at home under Ibrahim Tanko since the former Ghana international took over as head coach in January.
Going into this fixture, Dreams FC were unbeaten in the second round of the competition, but goals in each half by the home side, condemned them to their eighth defeat of the campaign as they stay in eighth position with 36 points.
The GPL will continue on Saturday with Accra Lions playing Basake Holy Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The rest of the Matchday 27 fixtures, would be played on Sunday with Asante Kotoko hosting Bechem United whilst Accra Hearts of Oak play away to Vision FC in the pick of the games.
