The draw for the AFCON 2025 tournament was made in Morocco on Monday night with the hosts drawn in Group A.
The Ivory Coast, are the defending champions after hosting and winning the last edition in 2024.

The opening match of the competition will be played on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
The grand finale will come off on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
The competition will be played in 9 stadiums.
Teams will no longer play two matches in the same day on the same pitch.
There will be 24 base camps/training grounds (one per team).
