The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League (GPL), action, will continue with the Matchday Two action this weekend.
The opening weekend, saw wins for defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars, Asante Kotoko, Heart of Lions, Nations FC, Karela United and Medeama SC.
The Matchday Two action starts on Friday at the TNA Stadium, Tarkwa, where Medeama SC hosts Vision FC in a game scheduled to start at 5:00 PM local time in the mining township.
Two matches will be played on Saturday at Hohoe and Tema with the rest of the weekend’s action to be played on Sunday and next week Monday.
Hohoe United will play their first ever home game in the GPL against Young Apostles at the Hohoe Stadium.
Also on Saturday, Eleven Wonders will host Heart of Lions at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, Tema New Town also at 3:00 PM.
On Monday, Dreams FC will host Accra Hearts of Oak at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, Tema New Town.
Sunday’s matches will see Swedru All Blacks welcoming Berekum Chelsea to the Swedru Sports Stadium in a game that is expected to thrill.
Aduana FC will host Nations FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Dormaa-Ahenkro in another compelling encounter.
Bechem United will look for their first win of the campaign when they welcome Basake Holy Stars to the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Bechem.
Former champions FC Samartex 1996 will also look for a first win when they host Karela United at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Samreboi.
