Ghana secured her place at next year’s Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON), tournament in Morocco after overcoming Egypt over two legs.
The Black Queens o secured qualification on a 7-0 aggregate win over the North Africans after winning today’s second leg encounter 4-0 at the Accra Spots Stadium.
Ghana had earlier won the first leg game 3-0 in Cairo, Egypt to set the tone for today’s second leg encounter.
A hat-trick from Doris Boaduwaa and a maiden goal from Comfort Yeboah sealed victory for Ghana in a one-sided encounter.
Team Ghana will now prepare for next year’s event in Morocco where they have look to win a first continental title.
The Black Queens finished third at this year’s tournament also hosted by Morocco.
Next year’s tournament, also serves as qualification to the FIFA Women’s World Cup to be hosted by Brazil.
The top three teams at the Morocco event, will qualify to represent Africa in Brazil.
