The Ghana Premier League (GPL), will continue with the Matchday 19 fixtures this weekend with some crucial encounters nationwide.
It starts on Friday at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon where Accra Hearts of Oak will host Kpando Heart of Lions in an evening encounter.
The game is scheduled to kick-off at 7:00 PM local time in the Ghanaian capital, and it is expected to be a fiercely contested affair between two in-form sides at the moment.
The rest of the fixtures would be played on Sunday afternoon at eight league centers to close this round of matches.
Medeama SC will welcome Legon Cities to the TnA Stadium, Tarkwa where they will look to bounce back to winning ways after losing their last game in Accra against Accra Lions.
Aduana Stars, lost last weekend at Kpando to Heart of Lions, and they will look to make amends as they host Bechem United at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Dormaa-Ahenkro.
Dreams FC, are on a revival mission as they seek to climb up the table from the relegation zone.
And as they play Basake Holy Stars at the Tuba Astro Turf, Kasoa, they will look for the three points to keep that ambition going.
Bottom side Karela United, will welcome Berekum Chelsea to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Tamale knowing they cannot afford to drop points in their relegation battle.
Vision FC, will be home to Accra Lions in what is expected to be another closely fought affair at the Nii Adjei Kraku Sports Complex, Tema New Town.
Second placed Gold Stars, will look to keep the pressure on leaders Asante Kotoko when they host defending champions FC Samartex 1996 at the Dun’s Park, Bibiani.
Nsoatreman FC, will hope to cause an upset and stay clear of trouble when Asante Kotoko visits the Nana Kronamansah Park, Nsoatre.
Nations FC, will play their home game with Young Apostles at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Abrankese-Kumasi where the two sides will battle for the three points.
