The Ghana Cricket Association (GCA), is set to host the maiden International Cricket Council (ICC), Level One Coach Tutors course in Accra.
This three-day event will be held between February 6-8, 2025 at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon.
The event will bring together 15 selected coaches from across Ghana, who will undergo training to become ICC certified coach tutors.
The course is a critical component of the ICC’s coaching and education program, aimed at enhancing the coaching capabilities of ICC member nations.
The Level One Coach Tutors course will equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to train and mentor future cricket coaches.
The course will also focus on tutor development, creating long-lasting positive impact on grassroots and elite cricket development throughout Ghana.
The course will be facilitated by experienced ICC personnel, Chris Cardoso and Jolene Campher, both from South Africa, and will cover all key aspects of coaching delivery, including communication, planning and assessment.
