Accra Hearts of Oak will look to amass as many points as possible in their opening five games of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League (GPL), campaign when it starts next month.
The Phobians will play three home games and two away fixtures in five matches, with a possible 15 points on the line.
Hearts of Oak will open the season at home to newly promoted Hohoe United with the encounter set to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The capital club will be huge favourites to collect the three points against the top-flight debutants.
Hearts of Oak will play Dreams FC away in their second game of the season at the Tuba Astro Turf, Kasoa.
And the Phobians, will fancy their chances of a win in this fixture against a Dreams FC side that have traditionally been slow starters to a season since they joined the Elite Division.
Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’s side, will then return home to the Accra Sports Stadium to play another newly promoted side Techiman Eleven Wonders in their third game of the season.
Hearts of Oak will be odds-on-favourites for the win against a side that struggles on the road.
A trip to Bechem to play Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, awaits the Phobians on Matchday Four.
This could be a banana peel for Hearts of Oak who lost at this venue in this fixture last season.
Afterwards, Asante Kotoko will visit the capital to play Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Matchday Five.
This, will be the biggest fixture of the first round of the competition with the encounter expected to be fiercely contested between the two giants of Ghana football.
How many points the Phobians will win in these five matches, could have an impact on their chances of winning the diadem at the end of the campaign in June next year.
The 2025/26 GPL campaign, starts on the weekend of September 12-14 at all league centers nationwide.
