Boxing: Enoch Tetteh Confronts South African Siyabulela Hem For Vacant WBO Youth Super Bantamweight Title Sunday

Pride of Bukom, Enock Tettey Tetteh, will step into the ring in South Africa to contend for the vacant WBO Youth Super Bantamweight Title against local fighter Siyabulela Hem.

The 29-year old Ghanaian, fights for the belt on Sunday, March 16 at the Orient Theater against his South African opponent.

Tetteh, (12-1-1), is a boxer the Bukom community admires for his potential to achieve greatness, serving as an inspiration and motivation for many young and upcoming boxers in Ga Mashie.

He is among the quieter fighters who let their actions speak, focusing on work in the ring. He is stylish, tough, resilient, and driven for respect.

Residents of Bukom have been eager for titles, and Daniel Otoo’s recent win of the national super bantamweight title has instilled hope, putting everyone in a positive mood.

Coach Sam Quaye of the Bukom Boxing Gym, is confident in his wards chances of success against his South African opponent who record reads, 8-1-1 as they head into battle for the vacant title.
