Black Queens To Face Algeria Saturday In WAFCON Quarter Finals

Ghana will play Algeria on Saturday in a quarter final encounter at the ongoing Women’s African Cup of Nations football tournament in Morocco.

The Black Queens beat Tanzania 4-1 in their final group game on Monday to make it to the last eight of the 2024 competition.

Ghana, finished second in Group C with four points behind defending champions South Africa who topped the group with seven points.

The quarter final ties, will be played on Friday and Saturday with two matches on each day.

Nigeria will face Zambia in the first game on Friday before hosts Morocco plays Mali later in the evening.

On Saturday, Algeria will play Ghana in the opening game with defending champions

South Africa playing Senegal later for a place in the last four of the tournament.
