Ghana Premier League (GPL), side Bechem United have appointed Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway as the club’s new head coach.
He will take charge of the Hunters for the 2025/26 Ghana football season which starts in September.
The former Kotoku Royals gaffer, replaces Osei Wire as the club prepares for the new season.
“We’re proud to announce the appointment of Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway popularly known as Orchester, as our new Head Coach,” a club statement read.
“With a wealth of experience, unmatched passion for the game and a clear vision for success, we believe Orchester is the perfect fit to lead the Hunters into an exciting new chapter.
Let’s give him a warm welcome as we gear up to chase glory together,” the statement added.
Bechem United are currently in Obuasi on pre-season as they prepare for next season.
Coach Botchway, will look to prepare his charges for what should be a very demanding campaign on the local scene.
The will compete on two fronts next season (the GPL and the MTN FA Cup competition), which they have won once.
