Access Bank Division One League (DOL), side Attram de Visser are through to the last four of the MTN FA Cup competition after beating PAC Academy on penalties.
This all DOL tie, was played at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi on Saturday afternoon with the game ending 1-1 after 90 minutes.
Penalty shoot out was required to separate the two sides, and, Attram de Visser held their nerves to win 4-3 to progress to the semi finals.
After a goalless first half with very few chances being created, PAC Academy took the lead mid way in the second stanza via a penalty converted by Evans Sarfo as they aimed to progress.
However, Gabriel Matumassey scored a last minute equalizer for Attram de Visser to throw the game into the dreaded penalty shoot outs to determine the winner.
After the kick outs, the Accra-based side, triumphed over their Kumasi counterparts to advance to the last four of this season’s campaign where they will play the winner of the tie between Berekum Chelsea and Bechem United for a place in the grand finale.
