Asante Kotoko’s win in the Round of 16 tie in the MTN FA Cup competition, have completed the lineup for the next round of matches.
The Porcupines, defeated Access Bank Division One League (DOL), side Sekondi Eleven Wise 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi on Wednesday to advance to the last eight of the competition.
They join seven other clubs that had earlier made it to the quarter-finals of the competition.
A place in the last four of the competition will be at stake when this season’s campaign resumes at the end of this month.
The lineup for the last eight of the competition, will see Asante Kotoko playing DOL side True Democracy FC for a place in the semi-finals.
Top-flight campaigners Berekum Chelsea and Bechem United will face each other for a place in the last four.
Ghana Premier League (GPL), side Karela United will play DOL campaigners Golden Kick FC whilst Attram De Visser FC plays fellow second tier side PAC Academy.
The winner of the tie between Asante Kotoko and True Democracy FC, will play either Berekum Chelsea or Bechem United in the last four.
Karela United or Golden Kick FC will play either Attram De Visser FC or PAC Academy for a place in the grand finale of this season’s campaign.
