Record Ghana champions Asante Kotoko have been drawn to play Nigerian outfit Kwara United in the first preliminary round of the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup competition.
The first leg of this two legged affair, will be played in Ghana on the weekend of September 19-21 with the return encounter in Nigeria on September 26-28.
Kotoko, will host the first leg encounter before travelling to Nigeria for the return fixture.
The winner of the tie, will advance to play Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club of Casablanca for a place in the group stage of the competition.
The draw for this competition, was held in Tanzania on Saturday with Asante Kotoko drawn to play the Nigerian side.
Coach Abdul Karim Zito and his charges, will look to advance past the Nigerians in this two-legged affair.
