Record Ghana champions Asante Kotoko will compete for the 2025 Toyota Cup on Saturday against South African powerhouse Kaiser Chiefs.
The game will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban with a giant trophy and cash prize at stake for the victors.
It has been scheduled to kick off at 13:00 GMT with a fierce contest anticipated.
Asante Kotoko will look to win the trophy for the first time against the South Africans in their own backyard.
The Toyota Cup began in 2024 with Kaiser Chiefs hosting then Tanzanian champions Young Africans in Bloemfontein.
Saturday’s game, brings together two clubs with proud legacies in African football, and promises to be a keenly contested affair.
Asante Kotoko arrived in South Africa with a 25-man squad, and Coach Abdul Karim Zito is expected to name a strong starting 11 for this cup game.
Kaiser Chiefs will be difficult to beat especially on home soil where they are very formidable.
Both sides are confident of a win on Saturday as they continue with their preparations for next season.
The Porcupines, are hoping to put up a strong show ahead of their participation in the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup competition.
Kotoko, will also represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup competition next season.
