Ghana Premier League (GPL), Accra Hearts of Oak will begin their preseason for the 2025/26 Ghana football season on July 21 in Accra.
The first team players will start arriving at their Pobiman Training Sports Complex next week Monday where they will be met by the new technical team headed by Mu-Ud Didi Dramani.
The former Ghana coach, would be expected to take the players through a comprehensive training regiment to get them ready for the start of the new season.
The Phobians, have made a few additions to their squad that participated in the 2024/25 campaign which saw them miss out on winning silverware in both the GPL and the FA Cup competition.
Next season, Coach Dramani has been tasked to win both competitions and, that process starts next week when he takes the boys through their paces to get ready for the demands ahead.
The team will play a couple of friendly games to put them in shape before the 2025/26 season starts in September.
Those friendlies, will include participation in the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Top Four competition where they will come up against GPL winners Bibiani Gold Stars, Heart of Lions and Asante Kotoko next month.
The demands from the Accra Hearts of Oak faithful for next season is very high, and Coach Dramani has a tough job on hand to be able to leave up to those expectations.
How his preseason goes, can go a long way in determining how successful he would be at the end of the campaign, and observers would be watching with keen interest.
