Accra Hearts of Oak Hosts Accra Lions Friday To Usher In GPL Matchday 32 Fixtures This Weekend

Accra Hearts of Oak will host city rivals Accra Lions on Friday to usher in the Matchday 32 action in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), this weekend.

The Phobians, still have a mathematical chance of winning the diadem this season, and, they will not take this game lightly.

With three matches to end the campaign, Hearts of Oak are eight points behind leaders Nations FC, and, they can win the title if they win their remaining games and other results favours them.

Hearts of Oak won the first round encounter, and they will feel positive about completing the double over their city rivals.

Accra Lions however, are deeply rooted in the relegation battle, and they will be a hard nut to crack for the Phobians.

The Matchday 32 action will continue on Sunday with seven more matches across all centers.

Asante Kotoko will trek to the Dun’s Park, Bibiani to face the might of local side Gold Stars who are also in the running for the title.

Dreams FC will host Berekum Chelsea at the Tuba Astro Turf, Kasoa in what should be a good game to savour.

Aduana FC will be the odds-on-favourites to win all the three points when they welcome already relegated Legon Cities to the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Dormaa-Ahenkro.

Leaders Nations FC, will face off with reigning champions FC Samartex 1996 at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Abrankese-Kumasi.

Young Apostles FC will hope to make the most of the home conditions when they host Heart of Lions at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.

Vision FC will be home to Karela United at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, Tema New Town to complete the Matchday 32 fixtures this weekend.
