The 2025 Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Top Four tournament is set to start on August 1 organizers have announced.
John Ansah, Chairman of GHALCA, announced this with the event set to feature the top four clubs in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), from last season.
GPL champions, Bibiani Gold Stars, Heart of Lions, Asante Kotoko, and Hearts of Oak, will feature in this preseason tournament.
The tournament, will serve as preparations for all four clubs ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season.
For Gold Stars and Asante Kotoko, the event will come as timely to aid their ambition in continental assignments.
Gold Stars will compete in the CAF Champions League competition with Asante Kotoko set to represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup.
All four clubs are expected to take this upcoming event seriously to get themselves ready for what should be a very demanding campaign next season.
Venues and the format of the competition would be announced by GHALCA later.
