The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League (GPL), fixtures will be released on Monday, August 4, 2025 in Accra, the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has confirmed.
They took to their media channels in announcing this, with clubs eager to know their opening day fixtures as well as some key games during the coming campaign.
The season will kick off on the weekend of September 12, 2025, and end on the weekend of May 23/24, 2026 according to the programme for the upcoming season.
Bibiani Gold Stars are the defending champions of the competition after winning their maiden top-flight title in the Ghanaian game last season.
Asante Kotoko have won the most titles, and the record champions will look to extend that dominance when next season closes.
Accra Hearts of Oak have not been consistent in recent seasons, and the Phobians will be eager to do well when the season gets underway.
Teams from the Western region (Medeama SC, FC Samartex 1996 and Gold Stars), have won the competition for the last three seasons, and, all will look to put in a strong showing next season.
The GPL trophy is competed for by 18 clubs in Ghana with the winners of the campaign representing the country in the following season’s CAF Champions League competition.
